Busy Isn’t the Blessing—Presence Is

By

Good Morning, it’s Wisdom Wednesday 🤔

Oftentimes, we get so busy with being busy that we forget what we’re doing and who we’re doing it for. Many parents fall into the trap of, I need to provide more for my children. While they are achieving the goal, life, social media, friends & babysitter’s are absorbing the best years of your children’s lives. They’re sleeping when you leave in the morning and sleeping when you get home, is your absence what’s best for them? Same thing for husband & wives, w/the busyness of life, when is time set aside for the love that brought you together? The prize is “being” present with your presence more than you’re apart. But how is this possible, some are thinking 🤔 simply by balancing it all with live, moderation and by not forgetting what’s most important first. As Christians, this applies to our walk with Christ too. Ask yourself how do you show up more, first and intentionally on a regular. Are you giving him your first or scrapping for a few minutes at the end of your day? When we add God to our first. God sustains us throughout the remainder of the day. It’s just like any house being built with a strong foundation, it weathers the storms & withstands the highest of heat on any & every day. Balance is key and being present is ultimately required by you and He. Don’t be busy with being busy, 🐝 intentional, daily.

✨ Read Matthew 6:33

But first seek the Kingdom of Christ and His righteousness, and all else will be added to your life.

Amen. The last few days I have been pondering this right here. I am never fully present with anything that I do. I am working on it.

    Great word Audrey,
As you said putting our heavenly father first every day is paramount to our walks with Christ. There are certain things I do every morning to allow me to spend time with our father. I don’t let this time get interrupted by anything or anyone as I have learned this alone time with him is what helps me 🐝 intentional every day.
As my Vision Board said my word for the year is “Meaningful” and that for me is in all things. 💟🙏🏼

It’s so hard sometimes to find balance when everything and everyone is demanding your attention but I’ve learned and still learning to understand that everything can’t be a priority at the same time and if I start with God, he’ll not only give me strength & increase my capacity, he’ll give me clarity of what’s important and what’s not!
